My iTunes library

I've just deleted all the files in my iTunes library. This is because I realised I'd completely twatted up, and got everything under the wrong names blah blah blah.

Thought it was easier to just start over, than try and sort it out. But of course, now I've realised that I've got to burn them all again, so I've fekked up good and proper this time!

Remind me why iPods are meant to be a good invention?!?!?!?

keep going at this rate and you will erase all your old DVDs and videos!

what you need is a 14 year old who somehow will instinctively know how to recover all your MP3s, load them on to 20gb Ipod and 1gb mp3.
oh yeah, and then nick your ipod and just for good measure your phone as well.

I'm 29 so I guess that like two and a half 14 year olds. If you've only deleted them from your library and not your ipod, you can recover them as I've done the same thing before. What you have to do is plug in your ipod and go into windows explorer and access the ipod as a drive. You can then go down into the sub-directories and copy the music files back to your PC. The only thing is, on the ipod they'l have names that don't make any sense like 76s76d76f.mp3. You can get free software that'll go through them all and give them the right song name \ album etc automatically for you (Download.com is your best bet)although you'll probably have to change the file names manually.

Oh darn, bugger, *!?&£%$, ££"%"!!! Why did I have to rush in and start loading the new stuff onto my ipod? Why didn't I just wait a few days til some intelligent 29yr old just talked me through what to do?!?!?

I am in a sulk now, at my own impatience! But at least I know what to do next time, so ta for that!
